The weekend violence in Monrovia and its suburbs which destroyed Churches and Mosques also affected private homes and business centers.

One of those whose home and business center were affected is Mr. Seleke Kelleh, president and owner of K&K Corporation which imports petroleum into the country.

Mr. Kelleh, through his son, Fomba Kelleh, told The NEWS Tuesday that his compound, estate and gas station all in Congo Town were set ablaze Friday by mobs, leaving several persons jobless.

But in spite of this, Mr. Kelleh said he will continue to remain in the business sector as his own way of contributing toward the development of the country.

He called on Liberians to remain calm as the Transitional Government carries out investigation to speedily bring the perpetrators to justice.

Mr. Kelleh stressed the need for government's to thoroughly investigate the recent riot and prosecute those that will be found guilty to serve as deterrent for those wanting to engage in such acts.

He said the riots have the propensity to derail the peace process and as such, the government should ensure that such is not repeated.

The K&K boss admonished Liberians to remain law abiding and live peacefully with one another so that they all can reconstruct their war-torn country.
